Mojito is one of the most popular cocktail classics. The drink made from rum, sugar, lime juice, mint, and soda water is wonderfully refreshing and brings that Cuban feeling straight into the glass!
Mojito originally comes from Havana, so white, Cuban rum is used for the classic preparation. By pressing the fine mint leaves, the essential oils are released, which ensures a fresh aroma in the glass. Mojito is served classically in a long drink glass.

- 1 Organic lime
- 2 handle (s) mint
- 1-2 tsp white cane sugar
- 5 cl Rum (Cuban)
- Crushed ice
- 125 ml of soda water
- Wash the lime in hot water, rub dry and cut into eighths. Wash the mint, pat dry, pluck the leaves from the stems except for the tip of the stem.
- Lightly mash the lime and sugar in a glass with a cocktail pounder. Add rum and mint leaves. Press leaves lightly or rubs on the edge of the glass (do not crush!)
- Add crushed ice up to about 2/3 the height of the glass, fill up with soda water, stir again, and decorate with the remaining mint.
