But not only that: The avocado smoothie is a real powerhouse that shines with many vitamins and healthy fats – thanks to avocado, spinach, and Co. The recipe is ideal as a healthy breakfast or as a fruity snack for every day. And this is how it works step by step:
Avocado smoothie – ingredients for 4 glasses (300 ml each):
- 2 avocados
- 150 g spinach leaves
- 2 pears
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 1/2 bunch of fresh mint
- Juice of one lemon
- 600 ml of water
Prepare avocado smoothie:
- Halve the avocados for the smoothie, remove the seeds and remove the pulp. Wash, quarter, core, and dice the pears. Wash the spinach and pat dry. Wash the mint too, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stems. Peel and chop the ginger. Squeeze the lemon and collect the juice.
- Put all the prepared ingredients in a stand mixer or in a tall mug. Pour water over it and puree on the highest level until a creamy mixture is formed.
- Spread the finished avocado smoothie between the glasses and enjoy!
- Tip: You can refine the avocado smoothie with almonds, chia seeds, or the local alternative flax seeds. They also ensure a long-lasting feeling of satiety.
